Our campaign kickoff event was amazing!!! I want to thank my campaign team for all of their hard work in putting this event together! Thank you also to my family, volunteers, and the community that all came out to support me and our campaign, to learn more about me, and to share your thoughts with me about the future of Charles County Public Schools!
I also want to thank Foster's Grille Waldorf for allowing us to host this event at their location and for their generosity. Thank you also to Rachel Hawkins for helping us put this together! These are the kinds of community partners we need, those that want to help take part in making improvements in their community.
We had some fantastic giveaways and the highlight of my night was having one of the young ladies color a page in my coloring book and give it to me to keep. Thank you so very much little one! You truly are special and I will hang that picture right in my office as I told you I would.
